Cliff Walk

Grief

My Father passed away on a warm October day and like most partings it was quick and without much warning.  I love the sea and to walk high above it on the cliffs is one of my favourite things.  I like to see the vast expanse before my eyes and to listen to the ebb and flo. To be small in the greatness of nature. To know sorrow but also to know love and happiness too.

School Run

Autumn Trees

I have spent many times as a mother travelling to and from. A to B.  Car journey's have formed a compulsory part of our life in these parts.  Sometimes they can be joyous. These journeys with my two buddies are ones I cherish.  Seeing nature change and wanting to stop and capture it before it moves again.

Wild

A thatched cottage dating back to Norman times set against the dramatic backdrop of Eggardon hill.  A huge sloping lawn where the animals and children run wild.

A family outing

Zoo

A trip to our nearest bird and animal park on a hot june day.  The colours and crazy hair do's of some of these creatures make wonderful subjects to draw. I had a momentary dream of a trip to South America after seeing this wonderful but rather cheeky Mckaw, until the happy reality of a great family day snapped me back.

Apple Day

A man on stilts with a tall hat is followed by an excitable brood eager to join in the apple day fun.
