The Lizard, Cornwall

Eloped to the Lizard last weekend with my husband Paul. The furthest most southerly point in England, it has a mysterious ends of the earth timelessness about it with it's strange dark islets that seem to loom up out of the sea like giant megalithic creatures. November is a favourite time to see this part of the world; desolate and peaceful with maybe if your lucky, the odd storm.  Storms at sea are one of my favourite sights and sounds but only of course from inside the safety of a nice warm room, book and glass in hand and wondering to myself how the waves could ever reach that high.

  1. Hi Suzie, thanks for stopping by the ole' blog, I always keep an eye on your lovely sketchbooks, they're so fresh and full of energy. Must meet up soon, it's been ages xx

    1. Thanks Flora, it's good to have a little stretch of time to get on and do stuff! Hope the tonsils are calming down now. See you soon, x x
